How We Do It

Art Planning & Curation

We begin with contextual and cultural research to shape a curatorial vision that aligns with the space and design. Working closely with interior teams, we develop a tailored art strategy with a clear narrative, defined positioning, and a framework for timeline and budget.

Commissioning & Production Oversight

We refine the curatorial direction by integrating client feedback, identifying key artwork locations, and specifying suitable mediums and techniques. This stage includes a detailed presentation and a finalized budget and quotation to ensure clarity and alignment before execution.

Artwork Selection & Planning

We manage the full commissioning process, from briefing selected artists and fabricators to coordinating procurement and finalizing all technical details. Our team oversees production to ensure quality and consistency, while also handling logistics such as storage, packing, and delivery.

Installation, Delivery & Handover

We oversee all aspects of installation, coordinating on-site with delivery teams and contractors to ensure smooth integration. Final artworks are placed and styled with care, completing the project to the highest standard.

Our Story

2018 Birth of Kooness

With the mission to break down the barriers of space and time by increasing the online visibility of art galleries and connecting them to a global network of collectors through digital innovation.

2021 A New Horizon

As Kooness deepened its customer insights, it identified a significant trend: a large portion of its buyers were interior designers sourcing art for their projects. In response, Kooness launched its Art Consulting division, a tailored service aimed at supporting design professionals in discovering and selecting artworks from its expansive network. In 2022, Kooness completed its first luxury yacht project, signaling the beginning of its specialized consulting services in high-end environments.

2020 Going Global

By 2020, Kooness had reached a remarkable milestone—its network expanded to include over 1,000 galleries worldwide, featuring more than 8,500 artists and offering a curated selection of over 70,000 artworks available for purchase on the platform. The momentum continued in 2022, with artworks sold in 62 different countries, cementing Kooness’s presence on the international stage. That same year, Art Basel and UBS recognized Kooness in their prestigious annual report as one of the top online art marketplaces in the world.

2025 Set in Stone

As of 2025, Kooness has successfully delivered 27 yacht projects, 5 luxury hotel installations, and 12 private villa art curation projects across the globe. With years of operational excellence as a digital marketplace and an unparalleled global network, Kooness has emerged as one of the world’s leading players in the field of art consulting, offering bespoke solutions for the most sophisticated design and architectural projects worldwide.
