Gianni Cella was born in Pavia on March 4, 1953. After graduating from the Brera Art High School, he then attended the Brera Fine Arts Academy and graduated in painting with Prof Manfredi. He has a long and complex artistic research behind him, which carries on the language of drawing, painting and sculpture. Cella exhibited for the first time in January 1982 at the Diagramma Gallery of Luciano Inga-PIN with the Plumcake collective, from which he then decided to separate in January 2000 in order to embark on a personal artistic journey.
The artist defines himself as a prolific, polymorphic and kaleidoscopic visionary of life, who lives in perennial adolescent isolation.
