Aléas is a self-taught French artist, painter, and colorist. Originally from Anjou, she left her region in 1987 to travel for over 30 years through France, Africa, and Southeast Asia. She has been living in Essonne since 2018 and has created her artistic studio. Passionate about art in every firm, Aléas has explored different forms of artistic expression, such as furniture renovation, pottery, sculpture, and painting on wood over the years.

For a few years now, she has been devoting herself mainly to her first passion: painting. She draws her inspiration from her travels and multicultural encounters, as well as from the latest trends.

Her varied artistic productions: abstract, contemporary, naive... are based on techniques as diverse as the brush, the knife, collage, the use of everyday tools, or the integration of natural elements into her works. Her work reflects an intuitive, poetic, committed vision, particularly on social and environmental issues.

She has been making her paintings from recycled objects for several years to produce ecological works. The frames are made of recycled wood, the canvases are made of old, mottled cloth, and the textures are obtained from materials recovered from nature. Her entire body of work is an invitation to dreams.
