Alexandra Nechita began painting as a child and in 1995 was invited to work with world-renowned Mourlot Press in Paris where great artists including Picasso, Chagall, Matisse, and Miró had previously been invited to work. She was called the ‘Petite Picasso’ as a child prodigy and her work has been compared to the Cubist work of Picasso due to her use of geometric shapes and to Chagall due to the imaginative and dreamlike qualities of her art
