Anja Smolarz

She was born in 1985 in Poland, Central Europe.
After studying Law, she moved to Sweden, where she opened a jewellery design studio and after seven years she returned to Poland to continue to work in her design studio while exploring and developing her skills as an abstract artist.
She has been creating since she can remember. Painting has always been a form of freedom that she couldn't put into words. It allowed her to break away from reality and endlessly wander around the recesses of her imagination. Her paintings are memories from a journey through the land of dreams, full of unusual valleys colourful forests and amazing oceans. They allow the viewer to move to a land suspended between reality and a dream. Her works are always extremely colourful and full of contrasting shades. She paints quickly, with expressive strokes of palette knife and brush. Finally, intuitive splashes allow her to release emotions and calm her mind.
For over 11 years she has been designing and creating unique jewellery from the highest quality Italian suede leather and semi-precious stones. The tanneries she works with supply the largest fashion houses such as Chanel, Hermes and Prada. Her jewellery is owned by collectors from countries such as France, the USA, Canada, Sweden, Norway, Italy, Spain, Israel, Brazil, Germany, Poland, the Netherlands, United Kingdom, Ireland, Singapore, Switzerland, New Zealand, Australia Denmark and Austria.
