From natural nomadism to pictorial eclecticism. After twenty-three years spent working abroad in Asia, South America and Africa, artist Audrey Richet returned to Europe just two years ago, choosing to settle in Spain, in Palma on the island of Majorca. This new destination could be seen as a return to her roots, given that the artist also hails from a small island in the Mediterranean.... So perhaps, in the course of her various artistic pursuits, we can read a few links between these vast and diverse horizons and this need to express and share a whole universe of the intimate and the invisible, from the most abstract to the most figurative, sometimes passing through a more graphic or geometric in-between, but never very far from an esoteric or spiritual form, latent or manifest, often bringing the obscure or even the occult to light.
