Born in Paris in 1959, Brigitte Szpiro is a self-taught French painter. A textile designer by training, she worked in haute couture design for 20 years.
From 1990 onwards, she devoted herself exclusively to painting and taught plastic arts in Tremblay sur Mauldre
Brigitte Szpiro practices above all a painting of sensitivity and emotion articulated around the colour. She stages characters with a tender and complicit look. The couple and music are her favourite themes. The duo represents the complementarity between a man and a woman. The musical instrument or the flowers are used as a mediating role in the love relationship. The flora with its shimmering colours that frames the characters serves as an ornamental decoration.
Her main motivation is to share emotions full of life which are at the heart of all her paintings like a communicative smile.
