Carine Brancowitz is a french artist dividing her time between Rome & Paris. She studied illustration, screen printing and lithography before starting out in a fashion studio and carving her identity as an artist with biro, paint and china markers. Her hand-drawn slightly surreal work oscillates between captivating details & intricate patterns, silences, layered with various styles, her work is multifaceted yet simultaneously simplistic.
She recently exhibited her work at the Prince Gong’s Mansion in Beijing, and at Le centquatre in Paris. She has also participated on a number of shows in Perpignan, Landerneau, London and Brussels, and has colaborated with many brands & magazines as Dior, Opéra national de Paris, Kitsuné, Le Coq Sportif, Céline, Converse, Iceberg, SFR, Nokia,The Guardian, The Sunday Times, Elle, Die Zeit magazine, Figaro madame, Marie Claire, Wear, playboy, Arena, Avant Garde, Vogue Pelle, Biba, Cosmo, Corriere della sera, Glamour and Rolling Stones magazine.
