She graduated in Art History at the Universitat Autònoma of Barcelona. Thanks to a Fullbright scholarship, she completed a Master of Arts and Education at the New York University. There Lidya Buzio, a Uruguayan potter, introduced her to ceramics and encouraged her to continue her learning at the Collell Workshop in Montevideo.
