Born in a beautiful mountainous region of Italy, Filomena Ceparano alias Ceparano was inspired by the magnificent beauty of the landscapes of her childhood and by the great masterpieces of Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo, Dante Alighieri... She first devoted herself to sculpture and then came to live in Belgium 15 years ago, where she began painting as a self-taught artist. She regularly exhibits her paintings of a light abstraction which invite to abandon oneself to daydreaming and to wonder about the techniques of realization.
