His father from Normandy and his Italian mother left to live in Africa in Sierra Leone, the country where he was born. Nostalgic for the smells, the warmth and the colors of youth spent in West Africa, more precisely, 20 years in Ivory Coast, he put on canvas the memories of my childhood.
Frst by expressing his thoughts on lampshades of different sizes before moving on to canvas. The first inspiration for his drawings comes from childhood memories, an image, a poster, a photo he took in the street, but above all he often work with affects.
His first supports were lampshades, earthenware, ostrich eggs and now on canvas. His techniques are varied (acrylic, Indian ink, black sand) and he also affixes collages on some works.
