Daniel Domingo Schweitzer (1988, Germany). He grew up in the Canary Islands where he began his career in Fine Arts. In 2012, after an erasmus in Dresden (Germany), he moved to Valencia where he graduated from the Univertistat Politècnica de València. The same year he was selected to reside at the Fundación Antonio Gala Para Jóvenes Creadores (Córdoba) where he began to develop his line of research around the body and space. In 2013 he returned to the Universitat Politècnica de València where he specialized with a Master in Artistic Production.
Schweitzer has made multiple art residencies, exhibitions, fairs and national and international festivals. In 2017 it is worth mentioning the 3rd prize of sculpture of the Sierra Elvira Foundation or the selection in the art festival Ciutat Bella Oberta to exhibit at the Museum of Fine Arts in Valencia. In 2018 he launches with different projects among which it is worth highlighting a solo exhibition, entitled “Entrelíneas”, in CEART- Centro de Arte Tomás y Valiente, as well as a Solo project, in “Marte”, International Contemporary Art Fair, represented by Shiras Gallery. In 2019 he participated among others in “Start 2019”, an International Celebration of Sculpture Network, represented by Est-Art Space Also noteworthy is his participation in EAC, in the Museu de la Universitat D'alacant or a residency in Pilotenkueche (Leipzig). In 2021 it is worth mentioning a solo exhibition by the hand of Shiras Gallery entitled “Geometric Places” as well as his “two solo show” in the creation space Navel Art with the title “A Pending Conversation”. In 2022 he participates in the International Contemporary Art Fair Art Madrid.
