With his years of dedication in meditative inspiration, it is not uncommon to find the artist Elias Saifan respectfully silent, in the Lotus posture, channeling its influences
energy.
Whether it’s mixing pigments to create unique colors to perfection, or with the brush in hand, Elias travels like a monk by diving deeply in the heart of various cultures in many countries around the world.
Always observing while participating, learning and being curious, he is the eternal student of a richly textured multicultural world, brimming with subtle and bold nuances.
Elias' art is often his mantra, paying tribute to meditation and its non-physical dimensions thus feeding a transcendent vision of what our world could be.
Elias' creative translation takes careful shape on canvases of different sizes.
Elias exhibits and sells his work worldwide and also makes custom orders
of private collectors.
Elias is very active in the “Artist-in-Residence” movement, which
brings together renowned accomplished artists and multi-faceted artists to federate and to mentor new creative talents.
He is a resident of the world and never ceases to travel in its many places of life or any simply by the encounters he makes. He resides in both Little Falls, NY and Beirut, Lebanon or in Cannes, France. His studio is housed in a historic stone building on the Erie Canal.
