Identity in the 21st century is projected and distorted through digital mirrors, fragmenting under the demands of external validation. In the performance society, individuals are caught between what they are and what they must show, in a continuous process of adaptation and distortion, reflecting the crisis of the self.
In my practice, painting and image do not seek to be representations, but diagrams of tensions, exploring identity not as something stable, but as a constant process of folds and unfoldings. My works are symptoms of the crisis of the self in a hyperconnected world, where the virtual and the real are intertwined in a constant struggle for legitimation and existence.
Obtiene diversos premios y es ganador de residencias como la Fundación Antonio Gala para Jóvenes Creadores en Córdoba, Fundación Rodríguez Acosta en Granada, y la beca FONCA de CONACULTA México. Realiza proyectos de diversa envergadura para la Oficina del Parlamento Europeo de Madrid y para la Fundación Marcelino Botín. Ha participado en Ferias como ART MADRID, ESTAMPA y expuesto su obra en diversos museos del mundo. Actualmente tiene su taller en el céntrico barrio de Malasaña en Madrid.
