Works by Evangeline Ang
After having spent two decades focused on her family's business, Evangeline Ang embarked on her creative journey to translate her fascination for nature, light, colours and textures into creations on canvas. She might have started late to be an artist in her life, but she gained achievement very soon.
Evangeline exhibited locally in Singapore and was awarded as finalist at the Angelico Art Award 2022 with her submission successfully bidded at the event's online auction. In 2022, she also exhibited at Art Expo New York, Art Sante Fe, Art Expo Dallas and Red Dot Miami and in Hong Kong and Turkey. The year 2023 kicked off with her work being selected to be exhibited at Art Wynwood presented by Art Miami. Following Art Wynwood, Ang's artworks were amongst a curated selection to be showcased at New York’s iconic luxury store Bergdorf Goodman where one piece was sold to a top collector. She had also sold artworks at the Affordable Art Fair Singapore in 2023. In the same year, Ang's work was also commissioned by a reputed hotel chain in the Dominican Republic and exhibited at the Context Art Miami show during Miami Art Week.
