Childhood is at the heart of Fabienne Octobre's work because it is in this period of our life that the changes begin that make us the adults that we are. We deal with our childhood, often we don't even share it, it stays within us. Loved too much or not loved enough, she doesn't think we can recover from our childhood. We seek our life in the regrets of this love or the expectation of reparation. This issue affects her work as a painter, because in general, that it is a way for me to try to be strong in confronting and putting order into my personal chaos.
