Felipe Sanchez Zorlini was born in São Paulo in 1990. Since childhood, he has been involved in the life of his painter grandfather, spending time in the studio surrounded by the scents of turpentine and linseed oil, which were a part of his daily life growing up. In 2014, he graduated as an architect from Escola da Cidade in São Paulo, and two years later, he moved to the United States, settling in New York City, where he still lives. From 2017 to 2022, he worked as an art assistant in the studio of multimedia artist Sarah Morris, where he learned the technique of tape painting.
