Francis Moreau is a French artist (1940-2021) who lived and worked in Paris, France. Like many others, he wasn’t born with a brush from childhood but through hard work and self-sacrifice, he managed to become a recognized artist on the Parisian but also French art scene. Constraints of life did not allow him to immediately discover pictorial aesthetics. He entered in Art first as a curious person then with the very strong impression that through shapes and colors he could pictorially express his questions and his view of the world and be able to participate in its rewriting. Without having had the opportunity to study art, he was self-taught in oil painting by copying the paintings of Old Masters. He gradually emancipated himself and turned out to abstract art that according to him even better to translate his vision of the world.
