Born in 1968 in the Democratic Republic of Congo, Dikisongele lives and works in Kinshasa. He is a visual artist and a lecturer at L’academie des Beaux Arts, the main school of art in Kinshasa. From the fan propeller to the clock and the burned mat as material elements of his current plastic expression, Franck Dikisongele traces an innovative technical, philosophical and artistic path in relation to himself.
