Garry Anderson is an Australian artist who works directly with nature, scrutinizing form and content, fixing the essential elements. The artist surrenders to the daily rigors of drawing and the study of form in nature to inform the visual landscape. He employs symbols that represent basic emotions and aspects of the human condition. Garry gained international recognition through arcade studies of his already well-known painting "The Pea Eater", also known as "The Potato Eater", owned by Murdoch University. It is the most controversial work in his collection and has been part of contemporary art history studies since 1996. The painting was the inspiration and metaphor for driving through the post. Mobilizing the audience that is now used in most North American and Australian universities in their study programs.
