Georg Küttinger, well know photographer, is influenced by his architectural education reflecting the perception and creation of space and time in his photo-based artworks. When taking photos, reality becomes static out of its context- Illustration, broken down into pixels and dots, as an information carrier. The works consist of several layers: photo carriers and several plexiglass sheets.The manually embossed plexiglas plates react formally to the photomontages, by mirroring and breaking their structures. The superposition of the different layers creates depth and leads to interference.
