The artist was born in 1981. She studied Contemporary Art and Crafts in Romania and then in 1998 moved to Turin, where she also specialized in Economic Studies, although never abandoned her favourite form of expression, art photography. Hers is an expressive and personal approach based on individual abstraction and conception of visual perception of space. Her artistic experimentation with this medium is encouraged by master photographer Franco Fontana for whom she was an assistant at a workshop held at the Turin Polytechnic University. Apart from creative and experimental photography, she produces other kinds of site-specific installations using new technologies. Nature and its evolution as a changing structure and stage of human life is a constant inspiration, which she has enriched during her many trips around the world. She patiently observes the source of inspiration to get the perfect light, capturing the contrast between the cold and the heat source that runs through the image as a luminous flux. Other subjects are water and all its states or simply a detail found in nature and the geometries that surround us. She studies contemporary issues and instability, as Zygmunt Bauman defines “liquid”. Five of her artworks in different formats are on display, guaranteeing uniqueness, as part of the permanent collection of the Forever Olympic Art Center Beijing (China), Civic Gallery of Modena Museum (Italy) and Florean Contemporary Art Museum (Romania) and other private collections.
