She started with clothing design and later transitioned to painting with pastels and acrylics. Her works reflect nature, animals, and abstractions. She participates in folk art exhibitions, the Golden Crown competition, organizes solo exhibitions, and showcases her works at art fairs.
Marina Kubilienė Education: Šiauliai University, Faculty of Art Artistic activity: Started with clothing design and decoration, then moved on to painting using pastel and acrylic paints. The created artworks are coated with a special protective varnish. Various themes are present in the work, reflecting moods: nature, animals, abstract painting. The aim is to create a distinctive world of colour and imagery. Exhibitions and participation in events: Participates annually in Lithuanian folk art exhibitions. Participated in the prestigious "Golden Crown" exhibition. Personal exhibitions: Rokiškis Regional Museum ("Hiding in the Grasslands") 2022-12-18 - 2023-01-29 Zarasai Regional Museum june 14th - july 31st Klaipėda Emanuel Kant Library ("DEJA'VU MOMENTS") 2021-08-09 - 2021-09-09 Participates in art fairs in Lithuania and abroad. Exhibits works on the online platform Botanical Art. Painting process: The artist is constantly looking for new shades and hues, experimenting with texture and composition. Sketches, colour explorations and constant compositional decisions are important during the process of curating paintings. The art pieces are painted using acrylic paint and coated with a protective varnish. Work collections: Marina Kubilienė's work has already found it's home in England and Ireland.
