Nath of Oyo Art is Nathalie Piroud! A self-taught artist, Nath discovered painting at an early age, around 8, thanks to a painter she reveres, Salvatore Dali. Naturally, she began working in gouache, before moving on to oil paint. The essences released by these, combined with the time spent cleaning the utensils, soon got the better of her patience! She then turned to the acrylic technique, which she practiced assiduously for many years, painting canvases inspired by natural landscapes, still lifes or her own imagination. In the mid-2010s, Nath made a major change of direction when she discovered epoxy resin while training to become a nail technician. The rendering and the many possibilities offered by epoxy resin convinced her to specialize in this technique, which she was determined to master! From a difficult start, with no support to help her, she built up a solid foundation in a technique that she was one of the few to practice in France at the time. Perseverance eventually brought her perfect mastery of the technique and its subtleties. Concerned with well-being and in love with beautiful stones, since 2020 she has been combining shapes and colors to offer unique works associated with lithotherapy. Finally, since 2023, she has breathed new life into her creations with the registration of her local artisan brand '' Nath d'Oyo Art''. Her concept is to extend the use of epoxy resin to decorative and everyday objects, while highlighting her home region and the know-how of Plastics Vallée.
