About the Artist

His paintings are projects, mirages and metaphorical visions, between fantasy and reality. In fact, style and conception in the subjects of his works have always kept alive the curiosity and the desire to imagine the world with different optics, deliberately surreal and decidedly innovative. A symbolic and conceptual art where the messages in his paintings are often permeated by an unmistakable desire for positivity, generated by one's own emotional sensations and underlined by the propitious power of his colors.

Curriculum Vitae

Artist and graphic designer Roberto Carlocchia was born in 1949, in Potenza Picena (MC) Italy, where he lives and works. After high school graduation, he attended a painting course at the Macerata Academy of Fine Arts under the guidance of Maestro Remo Brindisi. The 1970s and 1980s represent a successful artistic period with public and critics alike: he created various paintings/ pictorial works and participated in several exhibitions. In the late 1970s, in addition to painting, he started dealing with graphic design and advertising and, in 1994, thanks to his creative activity, he became part of TP (Italian Association of Advertising Professionals). Imaginative and creative artist, today he devotes himself mainly to pictorial activity. His new and interesting art creations are successfully exposed in important solo and group exhibitions in famous galleries, prestigious national and international museums.
