Roberto Taddei (San Juan Nonual - El Salvador, 1985). At the age of three he's adopted and he moves to Italy. Endowed by an early talent, he approaches the bic pen in the incessant exercise practice and in the learning of basic painting techniques.
The pen becomes the one and only expressive tool, which leads the artist to look for the emotional plausibility of the subject, yet keeping him far from sterile hyperrealism. The degree in Architecture at the University of Florence enriches him with firm and rigorous architectural notions that he highlights in works with a completely new constructive vision.
The acknowledged photographic quality to whom the artist's trait alludes, renders the viewer's perception on the nature of the work totally illusory. A constant and obsessive attention to details makes the acceptance of the mistake his own continuous improvement.
