Santiago Oliveros (aka Sako Asko) is a Colombian artist and illustrator. His academic training and his passion for drawing have become the basis for a unique and concrete pictorial language, creating and giving birth to a small cosmos of anecdotal vignettes and enigmatic fables.
Sako Asko's work strives to strike a balance between the richness of its narrative and a formal pictorial language, being inspired by people's inner lives for his artistic research. His drawings depict colorfully what motivates each of us to make critical choices or to postpone them indefinitely. The artist has a deep faith in the creation of images as a means to discover a vast inner universe beyond the human eye.
