Sandra Detourbet is a French-German artist born in 1967 in northern France, has lived and worked in Ivry-sur-Seine, near Paris, since 2012. She graduated in 1997 from ENSAD National School of Decorative Arts in Paris, Art-Space section, under the supervision of Dominique Thinot. After years of mural commissions, she devoted herself to painting and performing arts. She paints instinctively and in reaction to the environment with an almost epidermal approach. She is involved in dance, theatre and live performance also in collaboration with musicians. Among other experiences, she participated in a national tour as an actress-painter where she created works during the eight-hour performance. She has been exhibiting since 1997 in Europe, Asia, the U.S. and the Middle East, and her works are presented by international galleries and auction houses. She is featured in numerous private collections.
