The SOC.I.A collective was created in April 2018 by two brothers Ihor Spaskyi born in 1992 and Arthur Spaskyi born in 1994 ho lives & works in Kyiv, Ukraine. SOC.I.A practice focuses on finding a balance between spray-culture, music, and their representation in the gallery space. In our musical-performative videos, we initiate the process of materialization of the sound, giving it a graphic form. And the body in this act serves as a conductor in the bundle of sound-ear-body-hand-spray-brush onto a surface. Such balancing of dance plastics in conjunction with music, which is specially created for the video itself, is transformed into graphic images on the surfaces.
