Thierry PODVIN is a painter born in 1959, who currently lives and works in the French Ardennes.
A self-taught artist, after years of research, he has developed a perfect technique borrowed from the ancients with a subtle mastery of glazes that gives his painting transparency, depth and powerful plays of light on the models and figures in daring perspective settings with a lively and dazzling palette.
His painting is essentially figurative but explores and transcends with finesse the expression of his characters to the limit of destruction.
