Troy Smith is an award-winning multidisciplinary Canadian contemporary designer whose art attracts galleries, private collectors and interior designers alike. Using furniture as a means of expressing his creativity, Troy's eclectic collection of tables, chairs and sofas embodies meticulous craftsmanship and unique design. Troy works with durable materials, some dating back to the 15th century, like patterned rebar. Its original, unique and limited edition pieces are available in rare marble, bronze, exotic wood, artisanal glass and even luxurious leather. Troy's furniture has been called avant-garde and visionary. Its simplicity, clean lines and fluidity are inherently powerful. Troy expresses his passion for all beautiful things through his creations. He regularly travels to the biggest international design and fashion capitals and visits renowned museums, galleries and architectural monuments to explore and discover emerging trends and iconic creations in art and design. These influences are a constant source of inspiration. Troy is constantly experimenting with new concepts, new materials, new techniques and new projects.
