Stephen Irving aka Zero Gradient (b. 1981, U.K.) Stephen Irving is a multi-talented artist who enjoys street art, getting involved in his community, and experimenting with art and music. (I have provided a link to his youtube video called “Painting to Music” to a song titled “Who Would of Thought” by Samantha Durnan). This piece is for sale on Leviton Fine Art, it is titled "Painting Blindfold." His finished works are the result of the process of making art, rather than a “predetermined” outcome, as he is quoted “My work exploits practice and form to create work that is not predetermined by its outcome, but rather through the process in which it is created.” His processes include “Destruction, abstraction and re-imagining” in order to break apart an image and find the “beauty within the discarded, draw attention to the unnoticed, and find creation though the destructed.”
