Matteo Peducci alias Affiliati was born in Umbria in 1980. He graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Carrara; between 2007 and 2010 he worked at the Royal Court of Thailand, creating three monuments, two for the Mahidol University park and one in honour of the Princess of Thailand. The artist has participated in numerous international exhibitions and fairs, such as the Zurich Art Fair and the Preview Berlin Art Fair. Since 2013, he has been collaborating with university centres on research and development of new materials. The first studies on the electrodeposition of metals, which led to the development of the 'Electrosculpture' method, date back to the same period.
