Malaga, Spain 1978. Agente Morillas studied graphic design and illustration at the School of Arts San Telmo of Malaga and La Escola Massana of Barcelona, respectively. She has also received various artistic training courses, drawing, modeling and illustration; as well as graphic design, web and animation. She began to publish her artwork professionally after winning an illustration contest organized by La Vanguardia and The Generalitat of Barcelona, while studying her sophomore year at Massana in 2001, illustrating the cover of a Sunday supplement of the newspaper. And since then she has continued to work in different press media. Her unique style has positioned herself as one of the leaders of the Spanish illustration, unfolding without problems in areas as diverse as fashion, humor, media or live painting and mural. Parallel to her work as an illustrator, she developed her artistic career in which holds a much more intimate and personal work, and in which (a part of the drawing) explores other disciplines like painting or sculpture. Hier work has been exhibited in solo and group shows since 2005, nationally and internationally. Emphasizing her collaboration with Imago Mundi Project by Benetton Foundation, the CAC Malaga or Okuparte. She is a faculty member of BAU (Superior School of Design Barcelona), specializing in illustration within the illustration postgraduate and she is represented by Pepita Lumier gallery in Valencia. After 11 years in Barcelona and two in Piscop, a small town north of Paris, she currently lives and works in London.
