Chika Idu is an artist, who was born in 1974, in the village of Umunude in Delta state, Nigeria, West Africa. In the 1990s, he has been inspired by the colorist movement, while he was studing painting in Auchi Poytechnic, in Edo State Nigeria. As a painter, his aim is to capture the thoughts, perspectives, emotions, opinions, fears, and hopes of the moment.
