Daniel Panagopoulos (1924 - July 12, 2008), better known as Danil, was a Greek artist. He was born in Pyrgos, Ilia and attended the high school there. He initially enrolled in the medical school of Athens, but left it to pursue painting. He graduated from the school of fine arts, studied with Konstantinos Parthenis and then, having won a three-year state scholarship, settled in Paris to complete his studies.
