Le Pêcheur

After a busy professional career, Erik wanted to take up the pencils and brushes of his youth and give them a new lease of life.
Quote from the artist: "(...) at school, I drew my spelling, I illustrated my lessons, my best mark was often in drawing (...)".
Years passed and Erik Arsène went to the Maison des Arts d'Evreux to perfect his knowledge of painting and improve his pictorial skills. All the techniques he now explores and mixes with pleasure in a spirit of letting go are a source of experimentation.
This freedom of expression has led him to abstraction.
Mixing conscious and unconscious resonances, he brings to life an exaltation in his works. The elaboration is surprising and rapid. The colours, lines and volumes are an abundance of ideas that cannot be expressed in words.
