The main characteristic of his artworks is the peculiar way he approaches their support, incorporating materials such as fabrics, iron, tar or plaster. In the last few years his work is being developed mainly on backpacks and military canvas, leaving belts and hooks on evidence in order to give tridimensionality to the painting. Much of the particularity of the artist's work consists in the preparation of the support: on the canvas he glues other canvases or fabrics that he stiffens by treating them with tar, then he tears them, thus creating irregular surfaces. He spreads some putty on the parts he is going to paint, then he works with acrylic. Once this phase is over, he passes the sandpaper over the whole work to create splits and an "aged" effect. He finishes it off by retouching some parts in oil.
