About the work

Created from a positive printed on acetate film and two glass plates on which a layer of resins is randomly spread to obtain two masks to be inserted above and below the film that create a texture and light and dark that are always different. Printed on Fine-Art cotton paper, ILFORD Galerie Smooth Cotton Rag 310 gr. The work is inserted in a conservative acid-free passepartout by Canson 3 mm. in folder. Accompanied by a certificate containing, in addition to all the data of the work, the signature, the title, the date of shooting and creation and an anti-counterfeiting hologram also placed on the certificate of authenticity.

Giorgio Gatti was born in Turin in 1958 and began taking photographs at a very young age. His experiences in the early years range from ballet to fashion, from still life to reportage, to arrive in the 90s to humanist photography and subsequently to artistic photography. His artistic works are the result of over 40 shots that led him to work in Milan, London, Berlin, New York and Paris, a city that adopted him for several years and are within various private collections.
