Guy Lougashi (*1976 in Israel) is a Visual artist and graphic designer, working between Belrin and Israel. He uses his skills from work in stage and costume design, and various learned handicrafts for creating ever new and unconventional forms of expression moving between minimalism and complexity, harmony and disharmony, silence and noise. Paper with its versatile expressiveness is Lougashi’s preferred material. His paper objects with multiple layers, changes of light and shadow, and complex structures carry a great sense of poetry and emotionality. In his latest works Lougashi experiments with the combination of paper and salt.
