Hartmut Böhm is a German object artist. His work is characterized by a thematic rigor, as well as by its stringent development over more than four decades. Böhm's works owe themselves to a clear systematic production process, based on mathematical and geometric principles, which can be followed by the beholders at any time. In doing so, the works achieve dynamic and sometimes confusing effects, which stand in a relationship of tension to the clarity of their structure.
