My works capture the duality of modern identity: the person we are in real life and the carefully constructed version we present in the digital realm. The pieces are filled with symbols representing self-exposure, anxiety and the constant need for validation, while interaction with social networks becomes a game of mirrors, where perception and reality are intertwined in an infinite cycle of projection and distortion. In the paintings of Ivan Federico, this tension between the real and the illusory is intensified. Federico establishes a connection between magic and mystery, creating new spaces full of symbols and realistic esotericism. In his works, calm and tension coexist, reflecting the contemporary experience of living between two worlds: the physical and the digital. In this way, Federico invites us to reflect on the true nature of our identity and the essence of who we are, in a universe saturated by the omnipresent influence of social networks.
