Jean Durello lives painting as a passion. An impulse that led him to study all forms of pictorial expression at the Beaux Arts in Aix en Provence, then at the Research Center for Book Arts and Crafts in Marseille. He has exhibited since 1994 in France and abroad. Jean Durello is described as a perfectionist who never tackles a painting without an initial idea. His encounter with art and painting began with his first drawing prizes accumulated during his school life. As at that time, he made preparatory sketches on paper before sketching the shapes he had the idea for on the canvas. He is a thoughtful artist and very open to what surrounds him and thereby inspires him.
