In the 70s, I studied at the Saint Martins School of Art in London, UK. At that time, I mainly created large-scale abstract works. After graduating, I took part in various construction projects, in particular the building of a 17-meter trimaran. After the birth of my children, I decided to leave the UK by boat, to settle with my family in France, and unfortunately had to put my art on hold for a while. But for the past fifteen years or so, I've been pursuing my passion for painting and drawing, particularly from life models; as the works presented in this exhibition testify, my current focus is on portraits.
