José Loureiro (Mangualde, 1961). From 2015 to 2017, José Loureiro produced and showed, in single exhibitions, a big collection of drawings and paintings of various sizes, under the title “Sinapse-Morta”. Maintaining the geometrical accuracy of the drawing, with straight lines and perfect angles, as well as a short selection of colours: black, white and red, José Loureiro also introduces the less defined paint stain, with blurred shape. In some drawings, the frequence of the lines and the contrast of the colours produce a feeling of vibration, almost kinetic.
