Katika was born in Hungary in 1989. At the age of 4 she moved with her family to Russia. Her creative path began at age 7. Katika uses crochet and hand-dyed yarn as her main medium. She works with themes of the sacred, popular, and erotic. The artist engages the viewer in a dialogue through themes, materials, and techniques.
