Born in Salvador, Bahia (Brazil) Marcelo Mendonça has been a visual artist for 16 years, with postgraduate studies in design and art director in Salvador and Madrid. His career path is marked by social commitment, participating constantly in activities and projects of social critique. His work is based in his interest in the individual and their particular universe as opposed to the social. The observation of human behaviour and its world has been his research focus from the get-go.
