Visual Artist, graduated in Architecture and trained in various courses within the context of contemporary art and project monitoring groups. Since 2003, Marina's research has developed through the mediums of drawing, painting, printmaking, and collage.
Layers and transparencies, both in a formal and metaphorical sense, are at the core of her research. The construction of her works draws inspiration from everyday objects, observing the outer layers and depths in nature (such as water, the layers of wood that make up a tree, a fruit from its peel to the pit, etc.). Likewise, she explores the concept of layers in a subjective sense, relating it to memories, dreams, and imagination.
In 2009, she was awarded a scholarship by FAAP (Fundação Armando Álvares Penteado) for an artist residency at the Cité Internationale des Arts in Paris (6 months), where she held two exhibitions. Since then, she has exhibited her work in museums, cultural spaces, and galleries.
Her works are held in private collections in Brazil and France, as well as in the collection of the Museu de Arte Brasileira (MAB-FAAP) in São Paulo.
