Marlène Guichard, a lyrical artist, continues her exploration of rhythm, light, matter and lines in her pictorial expression.
The roots and the sky impregnate her creations, whether they are graphic or lyrical. Plastic art appeared in her journey as a lyrical artist at the chance of a shot one morning in 2017. Thus were born the "Coffee Omen", digital photographic work, featuring traces of coffee grounds. Upon returning from a trip to Italy, flooded with light, the first "walleye" laid down on paper came.
Since then, this quest for light on paper, metal, wood or any other support that inspires her, is at the heart of her plastic research. Her paintings play with light, materials and spaces and offer the eye singular games of interpretation. The whole spectrum of her artistic activity - singing and painting - is guided by the same quest: to live the grace of the moment, without catching up.
Emotional painting, sketching the figurative to better get rid of it, her works are at the service of the murmurs of the beauty of the world.
