It’s these urban walls the crossing over of our modern society. They are a testimony to our reality, they howl for the complexity of our contemporary lifes, the polyphony, the abundance of visual stimulants, the garbage, the ephemerality and the excess that characterizes our world today.

Mary Roussioti is a graduate of the Athens School of Fine Arts and the Graphic Design Department of Vakalo Art and Design College. She was a postgraduate scholarship recipient of the State Scholarships Foundation (2009- 2011) for her artwork "Painting Possibilities". As an artist, she identifies her role as a researcher, observer and part of the community, while she desires to create through a strong sense of interiority and self-awareness. In 2018, she founded "Pow Wow Arts, Art & Culture Space". Since 2005 to day, she has participated and curated numerous group exhibitions in Greece and abroad. She lives and works in Athens.
